Info Outline

I. INTRODUCTION
A) Depression is a psychological state that is hard to cure, hard to live with, and hard to endure. It is a nightmarish world, darkened by pessimism and dulled by unwillingness to act. This devastating and destructive state has a negative impact on the individual. It drains energy, evaporates optimism and enthusiasm, and paralyzes hope. It distorts the world and substantially reduces the pleasure of living.
B) Today, I will be imforming you about depression.
C) So, pay attention, because it might be happening right now, even if they don't look like it.
D) Today, I am going to talk to you about what is depression?, What is the cause and effects of depression?, and two types of depression.

II. BODY
A) What is depression?
Depression is a state of low mood and strong feeling of dislike to activity that can affect a person's thoughts, behavior, feelings and physical well-being. Depressed people may feel sad, anxious, empty, hopeless, helpless, worthless, guilty, irritable, and even restless. They may lose interest in activities that once were enjoyable; experience loss of appetite or overeating, have problems concentrating, remembering details, or making decisions; and may contemplate or attempt suicide.

B) What is the cause and effects of depression?
Abuse a physical, emotional pain that are from the past or present. Conflict a result from personal conflicts or disputes with family members or friends. Death or a loss, genetics, or major events that may effect a person, serious illness, and other personal problems.
The deep despair and hopelessness that goes along with depression can make suicide feel like the only way to escape the pain. Thoughts of death or suicide are a serious symptom of depression, so take any suicidal talk or behavior seriously. It's not just a warning sign that the person is thinking about suicide: it's a cry for help.

C) Types of Depression
1) Depression comes in many shapes and forms. The different types of depression have unique symptoms, cause, and effects.

2) Postpartum depression (PPD) is a complex mix of physical, emotional, and behavioral changes that happen in a woman after giving birth. Postpartum depression is linked to chemical, social, and psychological changes associated with having a baby. The term describes a range of physical and emotional changes that many new mothers experience. The chemical changes involve a rapid drop in hormones after delivery. The levels of estrogen and progesterone, the female reproductive hormones, increase tenfold during pregnancy. Then, they drop sharply after delivery. In addition to these chemical changes, social and psychological changes associated with having a baby create an increased risk of depression. Most new mothers experience the "baby blues" after delivery. About one out of every 10 of these women will develop a more severe and longer-lasting depression after delivery. One in 1,000 women develops a more serious condition called postpartum psychosis.

3) Another depression is Psychotic depression which occurs when a severe depressive illness has a co-existing form of psychosis. The psychosis could be hallucinations, delusions, or some other break with reality. A person who is psychotic is out of touch with reality. People with psychosis may hear "voices." Or they may have strange and illogical ideas. For example, they may think that others can hear their thoughts or are trying to harm them. People with psychotic depression may get angry for no apparent reason. Or they may spend a lot of time by themselves or in bed, sleeping during the day and staying awake at night. A person with psychotic depression may neglect appearance by not bathing or changing clothes. Or that person may be hard to talk to. Perhaps he or she barely talks or else says things that make no sense. Different medications are used to stabilize the person's mood, including combinations of antidepressants and antipsychotic medications. Treatment for psychotic depression is very effective. People are able to recover, usually within a year. But continual medical follow-up may be necessary. If the medications do not work to end the psychosis and depression, sometimes electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) is used. It's important for the patient to work with the doctor to find the most effective drugs with the least side effects. Because psychotic depression is quite serious, the risk of suicide is also great.

III. CONCLUSION
A) Today, I talked to you about what is depression?, What is the cause and effects of depression, and two types of depression.
B) Watch out for people around you, because they might be in depression right now in front of you.
C) It is easiest to shut your heart and pretend that loneliness is desirable. A white lie! Out of depression - to communicate with people - to establish relationships - and depression will quietly go away!

1) Nail Spray
Just spray your nails and don't paint your nails. It is much easier to spray then to pain your nails, because it takes a long time. Spraying have less mistakes then painting, and it quickly drys up, so that you don't have to wait.

2) Popcorn Wheeler
Turning the popcorn round and round in the bucket, so that you just eat the popcorn on the top without worry.

3)Wireless Earphones
Wireless, and awesome that you won't get caught listening to music. You can now stare into space with worrying what reasons you have to come up with, if you accidently start spacing out. Awesome, and are waterproof, too.
